Who is Sarah Palin?

Sarah Palin was a relative unknown when John McCain picked her as his running mate. We have seen interviews and sound bytes, but most Americans don't know much about this up-and-coming politician from Alaska. I thought that if I am going to be an educated voter, I had better read up! One site, The Sarah Palin Story, had some good background information. I think it is interesting how everyone is interested in her hair and glasses! It seems to me, the situation with her pregnant daughter is the most intriguing. I know she is not running, and I feel for her and the baby's father....can you imagine that young man. All of a sudden, he is thrust into the nations's eyes and meeting John McCain at the convention. One person's decision (Sarah Palin choosing to run) affects so many.

Did anyone see her youngest daughter holding the baby at the convention? She was licking her fingers and trying to tame his wild baby hair! It was precious....I'm sure some political strategist somewhere was wincing!
